W h a t f o l l o w s  are three different preliminary introductions to the theory and practice of A Course In Miracles.
 
The first, What Is A Course In Miracles?, is a concise fourteen-point overview, originally written as part of a proposal to teach the Course in a university setting.
 
Note: this first introductory article is an expanded version of “Our Point Of View.” If you’ve already read “Our Point Of View,” you may want to skip this first introduction and read the second and third introductory articles below.
 
The second, A Course In Miracles In The Real World, examines three issues: (a) why do people initially gravitate to the Course; (b) how is the Course practiced and (c) theory aside, what can the Course actually offer people in their day-to-day lives. This second introduction is based upon my own personal practice and experience with long term practitioner friends, patients and colleagues.
 
The third introduction is a reprint of the section of the ACIM Preface entitled “What It Is.”
